Bumpbuying: Boost Your Token's Popularity

Bumpbuying, also known as microbuying, is a strategy where small amounts of ETH are used to purchase tokens from unique wallets. This tactic is specifically designed to increase the unique maker score and buy count for your token, making it appear more active and “hot” on token screeners. OomerBot's bumpbuying feature automates this process, allowing you to easily boost your token’s visibility on platforms that heavily consider buy count for ranking.

Why Bumpbuying?

Many token screeners, both on Telegram and on main networks like Ethereum, use the number of unique buys as a key metric to gauge a token's popularity. Some of these screeners place a strong emphasis on buy counts, showcasing tokens with high buy activity. By using OomerBot’s bumpbuying feature, you can automate microbuys from unique wallets, effectively increasing the buy count and unique maker score for your token—factors that can help your token trend on popular platforms.

How Bumpbuying Works in OomerBot

When you initiate a bumpbuy, OomerBot handles the entire process, automating each step to make it simple and effective:

  1. Wallet Generation: The bot creates a series of wallets—10 by default, but you can specify any number by using the command /bumpbuy <token_address> <Num_Wallets:OPT> V2:V3:OPT.

  2. Funding Wallets: Your main wallet then airdrops a small amount of ETH to each generated wallet. This ETH is used to execute token purchases on Uniswap, either V2 or V3, depending on the specified settings.

  3. Token Purchase: Once funded, each wallet completes a microbuy of the specified token. These buys are designed to increase the unique buyer count, creating the appearance of widespread interest in your token.

  4. Cycle Repetition: This process repeats every 8-10 seconds, with new wallets continuously buying the token, until you decide to cancel the bumpbuy operation.

Note: Bumpbuying increases your token's holder count, as each unique wallet holding your token is counted as a separate holder. Keep in mind that these tokens remain in the unique wallets rather than being consolidated back to the main wallet, as doing so would incur additional transaction fees.

Step-by-Step Guide: How to Use Bumpbuying on OomerBot

To start using bumpbuying with OomerBot, follow these steps:

1. Access the Volume Bot Interface

Open OomerBot’s main menu and navigate to the Volume Bot interface. Here, you’ll find the bumpbuy feature along with other volume-enhancing options.

2. Deposit ETH

Before initiating a bumpbuy, ensure that you have enough ETH deposited in your main wallet to fund the bumpbuy operations. You can deposit ETH by selecting the Deposit ETH 💲 button from the Volume Bot menu.

3. Initiate a Bumpbuy Command

Use the /bumpbuy command to start a bumpbuy. The format is as follows:

  • Command Format: /bumpbuy <token_address> [speed]

    • <token_address>: The contract address of the token to bumpbuy.

    • [speed] (optional): Choose from fast, medium, or slow. If omitted, the default is medium.

  • Example:

    • /bumpbuy 0xYourTokenAddress fast (for 25 wallets per cycle).

    • /bumpbuy 0xYourTokenAddress (defaults to medium speed with 10 wallets per cycle).

4. Let the Bot Automate the Bumpbuy Process

After entering the command, OomerBot will begin the bumpbuy cycle:

  • Wallet Creation: The bot generates the specified number of unique wallets.

  • ETH Airdrop: Your main wallet airdrops a small amount of ETH to each generated wallet.

  • Token Purchase: Each funded wallet executes a microbuy of the specified token on Uniswap.

This cycle will repeat every 8-10 seconds, ensuring a continuous bump in buy count and unique wallet activity until you choose to cancel.

Important Considerations

  • Effect on Holder Count: Bumpbuying increases your token’s holder count, as each wallet holding your token counts as a unique holder. Due to transaction fees, the tokens purchased during bumpbuy operations are not consolidated back to your main wallet.

  • Transaction Fees: The cost of bumpbuying includes ETH used in each microbuy and Uniswap’s liquidity pool fees (typically 0.3% on Uniswap V2).

  • Canceling the Bumpbuy: To stop the bumpbuying cycle, simply use the command to cancel or navigate back to the main Volume Bot menu and select the cancel option.

Summary

Bumpbuying is a strategic tool within OomerBot that allows you to boost your token’s activity and visibility on various token screeners. By automating microbuys from unique wallets, OomerBot helps you increase the buy count and unique maker score for your token, attracting more attention and potential investors.
